Solar Production

The sun continues to produce huge volumes of energy that keep our planet liveable.  Some of that energy was coverted into electricity in Colorado. In 2009, 0.03 percent of our electricity was generated by solar PV generation stations.  However, it is not known how much electricity was generated by individuals and businesses from distributed solar panels.  For instance, the oil and gas industry uses solar panels to generate the electricity to power remote monitoring systems.
