Biomass Reserves

It is difficult to calculate reserves for biomass in the same way as for oil, natural gas, uranium, or coal.  These energy sources have SEC-defined methods for calculating reserves.  That is not the case for biomass.  That being said, with the millions of acres of beetle-killed trees, Colorado has significant reserves of biomass that can be exploited for energy.
